Eye of Humanity Center for Rights and Development condemned in the strongest terms the US aggression on the capital, Sana’a, this evening.
In a statement, the center explained that the US aggression’s airstrikes, which targeted the Al-Nahda residential neighborhood in Al-Thawra district, the Majel Al-Dama cemetery in Al-Safiyah district, and the Bani Hashish, Bani Matar, Al-Haymah, and Hamdan districts in Sana’a governorate, resulting in deaths and injuries, constitute a flagrant violation of all international norms and laws.
The statement considered these airstrikes a dangerous escalation, just days after the US enemy’s crime of targeting the Ras Issa oil port, which resulted in the deaths of more than (80) people, the wounding of (150) others, and the destruction of the port.
The Eye of Humanity Center expressed its full solidarity with the victims and their families, calling on the international community, the Security Council, and human rights organizations to assume their legal and humanitarian responsibilities, take urgent measures to halt this aggression, and hold accountable those responsible for these crimes, which amount to full-fledged war crimes
