Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced the detonation of a minefield targeting an Israeli force in the al-Farahin area, east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Brigades noted that Qassam fighters “pounded” the area with several mortar shells. They confirmed: “Our fighters observed the withdrawal of a destroyed vehicle and the landing of a helicopter for evacuation.”
The day before yesterday (Monday), the Qassam Brigades carried out a “complex ambush” in the same al-Farahin area, targeting an Israeli infantry engineering force with an anti-personnel missile and engaging them from point zero with machine guns. They then targeted two Israeli tanks and a military bulldozer with “Yassin 105” missiles in the same ambush.
The Palestinian resistance factions in the Gaza Strip continue their battle to defend the Palestinian people and holy sites, as part of “Al-Aqsa Flood,” for the 579th consecutive day, responding to the crimes and massacres perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against civilians in the Strip.
