University Students In Hodeidah Rally in Solidarity with Gaza

The University of Hodeidah, along with private universities, colleges, and educational institutions in the Hodeidah governorate, organized a massive rally today in solidarity with the Palestinian people and to support their steadfastness against the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The rally, held under the slogan “With the Armed Forces… We Will Not Let Gaza Starve,” was part of the “Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad” campaign.

A large number of academic and educational staff and students participated in the march, affirming the Yemeni people’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and rejecting the unjust siege imposed by Israel on the people of Gaza.

Participants, led by officials including the Undersecretary of the Governorate, Ali Al-Kibari, and the President of the University of Hodeidah, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed, carried Yemeni and Palestinian flags and signs condemning the aggression and siege. They called for an end to the systematic starvation practiced by the Israeli occupation against the people of Gaza, stressing that “free peoples will not let Gaza starve.”

A statement issued during the rally denounced calls from some “collaborating regimes” to disarm the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance, describing these calls as a “blatant betrayal” aimed at weakening the resistance front.

The statement also expressed full and absolute support for the Yemeni Armed Forces’ position alongside the “mujahideen” in the Gaza Strip, and called on the “living global conscience” to act urgently to stop the aggression and lift the blockade on Gaza, noting that hundreds of thousands of children and women are suffering from unprecedented famine due to the prevention of food, medicine, and water.
