Political Bureau of Southern Revolutionary Movement announces its refusal to participate in Southern dialogue in Saudi Arabia

The Political Bureau of the Southern Revolutionary Movement announced its refusal to participate in what is called the Southern Dialogue held in Saudi Arabia.

The Political Bureau of the Southern Revolutionary Movement clarified in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that it has followed the so-called Southern Dialogue being held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and affirms to the southern public opinion its absolute rejection of the conference’s convening, as it ignores most national components, does not express the will of the southern people, and does not represent the real southern components.

It indicated that the steps being taken by Saudi Arabia and the UAE in this context have no legitimacy in Yemen, because they are a blatant interference in the country’s internal affairs, and fall within projects that do not side with the cause of the southern people and their legitimate rights.

The Southern Revolutionary Movement renewed its steadfastness in its national cause and adherence to its principles and goals, declaring its complete rejection of Saudi and Emirati projects, which practice an occupation that seeks to impose guardianship and hegemony over the south through tools and projects unrelated to the will of the people.

It also announced its absolute rejection of occupation in all its forms and images, and its rejection of all projects that undermine the sovereignty of the south or circumvent the sacrifices of its sons, no matter how varied their names or different their tools.

The statement said, “Out of national responsibility and sincere alignment with the concerns and rights of the people, the Political Bureau of the Southern Revolutionary Movement affirms its complete alignment with the people and citizens, and with the ordinary people who pay the political, economic, and security price of the occupation and its projects.”

It called on the masses of the Yemeni people in various southern provinces to go out in peaceful popular demonstrations, with clear and explicit slogans, foremost among them rejecting occupation in all its forms and also rejecting the projects of Saudi and Emirati occupation – no to guardianship – no to imposed projects, yes to the will of the southern people.

The Southern Revolutionary Movement affirmed that the voice of the street is the true expression of popular will, and that it will remain the voice of the people, the component connected to the citizen, and the faithful guardian of the southern cause until its goals are fully achieved.
