The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stated that the President of the United States insists on repeating the claim that “our army is the strongest in the world,” but even the strongest army in the world can receive a powerful blow that leaves it unable to recover.
According to the Iranian news agency Mehr, Ayatollah Khamenei added, during a meeting with a large gathering of residents from East Azerbaijan Province: “They always say that we have deployed an aircraft carrier towards Iran; well, of course, an aircraft carrier is a dangerous weapon, but what is more dangerous is the weapon capable of sinking it to the bottom of the sea.”
