Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) announced today, Monday, that it has filed a lawsuit in Chile against a Ukrainian-Israeli sniper for genocide and crimes linked to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
The foundation stated in a post on the “X” platform, as monitored by the Yemen News Agency (SABA), that it “filed a criminal case in Chile against the Israeli-Ukrainian sniper, Rom Kovton, on charges of genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes related to the siege of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.”
It emphasized that “Chile now has a legal duty to take action” under the criminal case.
With U.S. and European support, the Israeli enemy army, over more than two continuous years since October 7, 2023, has committed acts of genocide, siege, and starvation in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 72,063 Palestinian civilians, the majority being children and women, and injuring 171,726 others, as of today. This figure is not final, as thousands of victims remain under rubble , on streets where rescue and medical teams cannot reach them.
