At least 13 citizens were killed and others were wounded on Friday as a result of Israeli attacks in various areas in the northern and southern Gaza Strip, amid ongoing ceasefire violations persisting for the 197th consecutive day, the Palestinian Information Center reported citing sources.
According to media and medical sources, an Israeli strike targeted a police vehicle in the Bir 19 area of al‑Mawasi, Khan Yunis, killing eight citizens and injuring others.
Later, three people, including two children, were killed in an Israeli artillery attack on a house belonging to the family of al-Tanani near Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza.
Two people were also killed and several others were wounded in a strike on a gathering of civilians, including police officers, in Gaza City’s ash-Sheikh Radwan area.
At dawn, a 10‑year‑old girl was wounded by Israeli gunfire in the town of Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.
Medical sources said paramedics transferred the girl, who was in critical condition, to Al‑Shifa Hospital in Gaza City after Israeli forces opened machinegun fire at tents inside a destroyed school sheltering displaced families in the Beit Lahia project area in northern Gaza.
