The Iranian Supreme National Security Council announced that the United States, through the Pakistani army chief acting as a mediator and party in the negotiations, has presented new proposals. The Council indicated that Tehran is currently studying these proposals and has not yet responded.
In a statement carried by the Iranian news agency Mehr, the Council emphasized that the Iranian negotiating team will not make the slightest concessions, retreats, or compromises. It will exert every effort to defend the interests of the Iranian people and to solidify the great and historic victories achieved by the Iranian people in this unjust and imposed war, a war in which the pure blood of martyrs, especially the martyred leader of the revolution, was shed.
