The Observatory explained on its website that these violations included repeated ground incursions into Syrian villages and towns, intensive overflights by warplanes and helicopters, the firing of flares, and limited shelling in some locations.
It stated that these movements were accompanied by raids, searches, arrests, the establishment of temporary checkpoints, and road closures, in addition to attacks targeting civilians and their property.
The Observatory also monitored movements within the buffer zone, including military and engineering work and the reinforcement of positions, amid the presence of UN forces monitoring the disengagement without direct intervention, and complete silence from the current Syrian authorities.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented 39 Israeli ground and air incursions involving vehicles, soldiers, and prefabricated structures, in addition to continuous overflights in southern Syria.
The Observatory detailed these incursions, calling on the international community and UN organizations to break their silence regarding the targeting of civilians and media personnel, the bulldozing of land, the spraying of trees and crops with toxic substances, and the killing of animals and livestock.
It urged immediate action to stop the violation of Syrian sovereignty and to protect residents of border areas from arbitrary practices and indiscriminate arrests.
