The Acting Prime Minister, scholar Mohammad Miftah, affirmed that a robust security apparatus serves as the ultimate guardian of public rights, societal stability, and the protection of vulnerable populations. Speaking at a major security graduation event, Miftah emphasized that continuous technical and tactical training is the cornerstone of building a highly disciplined cadre capable of elevating national readiness.
The graduation ceremony featured personnel completing specialized security courses, tactical refresher training, and emergency force operations. The programs were executed by the Ministry of Interior’s General Directorate of Training and Qualification, drawing cohorts from the General Police Training Center, the Martyr Taha Al-Madani Police School, and the Police Academy’s Training College.
Addressing the newly minted officers, Scholar Miftah stressed that their academic and operational knowledge must immediately translate into proactive field vigilance. “The security successes achieved in maintaining public peace and neutralizing criminal networks demonstrate that Yemen possesses a conscious, elite institution equipped to execute its mandates under absolute pressure,” Miftah stated.
The ceremony concluded with an extensive military parade and a mechanical exhibition showcasing the Ministry of Interior’s latest tactical vehicles and specialized security units.
The graduation of these specialized forces under the explicit banner of the Unity of the Fronts (Wahdat al-Sahat) marks a significant evolution in Sana’a’s internal defense framework. Historically, adversarial intelligence services have sought to destabilize the state from within to alleviate pressure on external military fronts. By training police and emergency units under an integrated regional doctrine, the Ministry of Interior signals that it treats domestic counter-sabotage operations as an active extension of its broader geopolitical defense strategy.
According to military analysts, maintaining an ironclad internal front is what enables Sana’a to continuously project power and maintain its strategic leverage in international maritime corridors.
