The death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,610, with 172,448 injured since the war began on October 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian health ministry on Sunday morning.
In its daily report, the ministry said that hospitals across Gaza received two fatalities and three injuries over the past 24 hours.
Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, at least 830 Palestinians have been killed, and 2,345 others have been injured. In addition, 767 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
Medical teams also said that several victims remain trapped under debris and on roads, as ambulance and rescue crews are still unable to reach them due to ongoing conditions on the ground.
