Human Tsunami in Sana’a in support of Quran , Al-Aqsa, & in solidarity with Lebanon, ffirming readiness

The capital Sana’a witnessed this afternoon a massive human “tsunami” during a million-strong rally titled: “In Support of the Quran and Al-Aqsa… in Solidarity with Lebanon… and Affirming Readiness”, in condemnation of repeated insults against the Holy Quran and Islamic sanctities.

Huge crowds poured into Al-Sabeen Square from all directions, responding to the call of the revolution leader , Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in anger over the desecration of the Holy Quran, in support of Al-Aqsa and Palestine, in solidarity with Lebanon , its resistance fighters, and to affirm readiness for any developments or escalation.

At the center of the million-strong gathering stood a model of the Holy Quran, symbolizing the sanctity of Allah’s book and the deep connection of Yemenis to it, their commitment to its teachings, and their absolute rejection of any insult against it.

The crowds raised Yemeni, Palestinian, and Lebanese flags, chanting angry slogans condemning repeated US-Zionist insults against the holiest Islamic sanctity—the Book of Allah.

They strongly denounced the near-daily assaults and desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Zionist forces amid what they described as shameful Arab and Islamic silence, affirming they would not remain silent in the face of ongoing violations and campaigns targeting Islamic sanctities.

The crowds renewed their full and absolute mandate to Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, reaffirming the Yemeni people’s principled stance in support of Gaza , the Palestinians, and solidarity with Hezbollah in Lebanon.

They emphasized adherence to the Quran and commitment to jihad in the path of Allah, defending the sanctities and causes of the Islamic nation, and confronting what they described as Zionist , American enemies , their allies and schemes targeting Islam and Muslims.

The participants chanted slogans of disavowal of Islam’s enemies, including: anger over the Quran, calls for global uprising in its defense, condemnation of Quran desecration and Al-Aqsa violations, and affirmations that the Quran is the Allah Book and that its enemies will not prevail.

They also reiterated chants of support for Gaza, Lebanon, Palestine, and readiness for jihad and confrontation.

During the rally, Yemen’s Mufti Sheikh Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din stated that the Yemeni people’s turnout represents anger and victory for Allah Book and all Islamic sanctities, reflecting deep faith and commitment, referencing the prophetic saying: “Faith is Yemeni, wisdom is Yemeni.”

He noted the importance of the demonstration coinciding with the first of Dhu al-Hijjah, one of the most blessed days in which righteous deeds are beloved to Allah, describing the gathering as an act of jihad in Allah path .

He added that Yemen will never abandon its sanctities, foremost among them Allah Book , the Prophet Muhammad, and Islamic values, stressing that insults against the Quran will not pass without consequence.

He emphasized that the Yemeni people’s protest expresses rejection of insults against the Holy Quran, warning that such actions would not go unpunished.

He also stated that those who speak of freedom of expression must understand that freedom has limits and must not come at the expense of religion, beliefs, or sanctities.

The Mufti explained that the people came out in jihad for Allah’s pleasure, in support of the Quran, Al-Aqsa Mosque, the oppressed Palestinian people and their prisoners, in solidarity with Lebanon , its resistance, in readiness for any escalation by the United States and Israel in the region.

He condemned repeated insults by the US , Israel against the Quran and the near-daily desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque, affirming that the Yemeni people will not remain silent.

The statement called on Muslims worldwide and Arab and Islamic nations to fulfill their duty, intensify boycott campaigns, and stage mass demonstrations in support of Islamic sanctities and resistance against what it described as hostile US-Zionist plans.

It warned against neglecting confrontation with such schemes, describing it as a factor that emboldens enemies and exposes the nation to divine punishment.

The statement also offered condolences to Al-Qassam Brigades over the death of commander Izz al-Din al-Haddad, stating that sacrifices will only increase the resistance’s strength and determination.

It reaffirmed continued support for Gaza, the liberation of Al-Aqsa , all of Palestine, and support for prisoners in Israeli jails.

It also expressed full solidarity with Hezbollah in Lebanon and praised its strikes against what it called the “temporary entity,” affirming readiness for any new escalation by the US and Israel in the region.

The statement concluded by reaffirming Yemen’s identity of faith, wisdom, and jihad, stressing continued steadfastness in supporting Islam and resisting US-Israeli aggression, called for adherence to the Quran and awareness of what it described as soft war targeting youth.

It also urged participation in humanitarian and support campaigns for fighters on the fronts of dignity and jihad.
