Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Monday that dialogue does not mean surrender, stressing that Tehran will not under any circumstances retreat from the legal rights of Iran and its people.
Pezeshkian affirmed in a post on the X platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that his country enters dialogue with dignity and strength while preserving the rights of the Iranian people.
He added: “We will remain, with logic and with all our strength, until our last breath, in service to our people and in protection of Iran’s interests and dignity.”
On February 28 last year, the United States and the Zionist entity launched a new aggression against Iran that lasted 40 days, killing thousands of civilians and targeting schools, hospitals, mosques, and other capabilities of the Iranian people.
In response to the aggression, Iran launched Operation True Promise 4 against the Zionist entity and US bases in the region.
