A Zionist force advanced toward Wadi area in the town of Shebaa, simultaneously conducting a sweep with machine guns as operations intensify across southern Lebanon, Al-Manar English Website reported.
The Israeli enemy continues its military escalation against southern Lebanon, issuing fresh evacuation threats and carrying out multiple airstrikes just days after a US-brokered ceasefire extension.
Following the extension, the Israeli enemy threatened residents of nine towns with evacuation: Qaqaiyat al-Sanoubar, Kawthariyat al-Sayyad, al-Marwaniyya, al-Ghassaniyya, Tuffahta, Arzi (Sidon), al-Babliya, Ansar (Nabatieh), and al-Bisariya.
Enemy warplanes launched airstrikes on the towns of Kawthariyat al-Sayyad, al-Ghassaniyya, Qaqaiyat al-Sanoubar, Tuffahta, Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain, and Haboush in the Nabatieh district. Another airstrike targeted Yahmar al-Shaqif, coinciding with shelling and an aerial attack on the town of Ansar.
The outskirts of al-Haniya and al-Qalila were subjected to artillery shelling, while enemy warplanes bombed a house belonging to the Nassar family in Kawthariyat al-Sayyad no injuries were reported. An additional Israeli raid struck the area between Arnoun and Yahmar al-Shaqif.
