Yemen’s Deputy Foreign Minister and Expatriates Affairs, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, sent a message to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, on the occasion of the 37th passing anniversary of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Revolution.

In his message, Abu Ras praised the legacy of Imam Khomeini, considering him a symbol of resistance to oppression, independence from foreign domination, and support for the causes of the Muslim nation.

He also commended Imam Khomeini’s role in confronting global arrogance, strengthening unity among Islamic nations, and championing just causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

Abu Ras said the anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s passing comes at a time when Iran continues to face aggression and an unjust blockade imposed by the United States and the Israeli enemy entity.

He stressed that the aggressors had failed to achieve their objectives due to the steadfastness of Iran’s armed forces and the resilience and unity of the Iranian people.

The Yemeni official reiterated Yemen’s unwavering support for Iran and its people, affirming continued solidarity in confronting US-Israeli aggression.
