Gaza Health Ministry: 24 Patients, 45 companions leave for treatment abroad via Rafah crossing

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that 24 patients, accompanied by 45 companions, left the Strip this morning, Wednesday, via the Rafah Crossing, to continue their medical treatment abroad.

In a statement seen by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry said that its Medical Referrals Committee is continuing its intensive efforts in managing and monitoring patient travel and maintaining ongoing coordination with relevant authorities to facilitate departure procedures for cases requiring treatment outside the Strip.

The Ministry emphasized that a large number of patients and wounded individuals are still waiting for permission to travel for treatment, reiterating its call to expedite their departure procedures to ensure they receive the necessary medical care in a timely manner and to uphold their right to treatment and life.
