The Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya, the command center for Iran’s armed forces, announced on Monday that a painful response has been delivered to “Israel” and that military operations have been halted for now.
In a statement, the Iranian headquarters said the response came following Israeli attacks and actions in southern Lebanon and the Dahiyeh area (Beirut’s southern suburb), which it said were carried out with the support of the United States.
It added that Iran’s armed forces acted “in support of the oppressed Lebanese people.”
The statement said the response should serve as a lesson to ‘Israel’ and its supporters.
It further announced a cessation of operations by the Iranian armed forces, while warning that if attacks and hostilities continue—including in southern Lebanon—“far more severe, decisive, and powerful measures than before will be taken.”
