Rodriguez: Washington No Authority to Judge Cuba’s Sovereign Decisions

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez stated that the United States government, which pursues a policy of collective punishment against the Cuban people, has no political, legal, or moral authority to judge the steps taken by Cuba.

In a post on the “X” platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) on Sunday, Rodriguez emphasized that it is unacceptable for Washington to evaluate or impose its views on the measures his country takes within the framework of exercising its sovereignty and right to self-determination, in order to confront the repercussions of a “severe economic aggression” exacerbated by the energy embargo and secondary sanctions imposed on third parties.
