President Mahdi al-Mashat: Set your clocks to Sana’a time when Sayyed al-Houthi sends a warning

President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, has issued a message on Friday carrying political and military implications, urging people to “set their clocks to Sana’a time” whenever Abdul-Malik al-Houthi issues warnings.

In a statement carried by the Yemen News Agency (SABA), Al-Mashat affirmed that the next phase would be shaped by positions and equations announced by Sana’a.

“When the leader issues a warning and Yemen responds both officially and popularly, set your clocks to Sana’a time,” President Al-Mashat said.

He praised the large crowds for their magnificent and awe-inspiring turnout in the “Friday of Warning and Mobilisation” marches, in response to the call of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

Al-Mashat thanked the Yemeni people for their “honourable turnout,” saying the participation demonstrated internal cohesion and readiness to face any developments.

At the conclusion of his remarks, Al-Mashat issued a clear warning to Saudi Arabia, stressing that legitimate rights cannot be ignored or circumvented. “In the face of legitimate rights and just demands, challenges crumble. Either there are rights for all, or there are no rights for anyone.”
