Former Lebanese President Lahoud: Those Who Bet on Israeli Aggression Breaking Resistance Are Mistaken

Former Lebanese President Emile Lahoud affirmed on Sunday that those who bet on Israeli aggression breaking the back of the resistance and its supporters are mistaken, and time will prove it. He called for treating the resistance as a strong bargaining chip rather than negotiating over its leadership.

This came in a statement by the former Lebanese president in which he offered his condolences to the families of the martyrs who were killed yesterday in the towns of Deir Zahrani and Ansar in southern Lebanon as a result of raids by the Israeli enemy army, according to the Al-Manar website, affiliated with the Lebanese Hezbollah.
