The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine affirmed that the continued Zionist aggression against civilians in the Gaza Strip, and the targeting of homes and families, underscores the urgent need for genuine guarantees that compel the Israeli enemy to fully implement the terms of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.
Movement spokesperson Mohammed al-Hajj Musa said in a press statement issued Sunday and received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that these guarantees must include an immediate halt to the killing, destruction, and assassinations, and an acknowledgment of the principle of withdrawal from the entire Gaza Strip.
He added that this places the parties and mediators directly responsible for enforcing these commitments on the ground.
