U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders on Saturday criticized the sharp increase in the wealth of several prominent billionaires since Donald Trump won the 2024 U.S. presidential election.

In a post on X monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Sanders said Elon Musk’s fortune had reached $531 billion, Larry Page’s $139 billion, Jeff Bezos’ $60 billion, Sergey Brin’s $128 billion, and Michael Dell’s $107 billion.

Sanders called for efforts to build an economy that serves all Americans, rather than a small group of wealthy individuals.
