Head of Yemen’s National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs Abdulqader Al-Murtadha said that Saudi Arabia is seeking information through a third-party mediator on the fate of the pilots of a downed F-15 fighter jet.
Al-Murtadha affirmed that the Saudi side is following up on the pilots’ fate through an intermediary, amid the absence of direct communication regarding their status.
He stated that the move reflects Saudi Arabia’s interest in obtaining details about the fate of the pilots of the fighter jet that was downed during military operations.
The Yemeni Armed Forces had shot down a Saudi F-15 fighter jet over Marib during an escalation in Saudi air operations against Yemen.
