Iran’s vice president congratulates Yemen on victories

Iran’s First Vice President, Mohammad Reza Aref, has expressed his satisfaction with the victories of the Yemeni people, calling on the region’s rulers to embrace rationality and free themselves from dependency.

In a post on the “X” platform, Aref said: “We express our happiness at the victories of the resilient Yemeni people. Our message, as before, to the rulers of the region is a call to rationality, liberation from dependency, and unity under the banner of Islam.”

He added: “The formation of a strong Islamic economic and political bloc, taking into account the interests of neighborliness and regional cohesion, guarantees the interests of the Islamic nation.”

The congratulatory message from Iran’s First Vice President comes amid a series of significant military achievements by Armed Forces in Yemen, including the Severe Punishment operation that expelled Saudi-backed forces from six districts in Taiz and Hodeidah, the downing of multiple Saudi drones and aircraft, and the liberation of Yemeni prisoners from Saudi prisons on the western coast.
