Yemen’s President Mahdi Al-Mashat has issued a presidential amnesty for all personnel who had been fighting on the western coast and have laid down their arms and returned to the right path.
Al-Mashat directed local authorities in Hodeidah and Taiz provinces to take the necessary measures to implement the amnesty.
The western coast fronts have witnessed intense fighting amid movements by Saudi enemy-backed forces, prompting the Yemeni Armed Forces to target these formations in the area with drones and ballistic missiles.
Amid the latest field developments, activists have circulated reports that Saudi-backed forces have withdrawn from several positions along the western coast, most notably Khalid Camp at the Mocha junction in western Taiz province.
