The Yemeni army and popular committees on Saturday launched an offensive on the positions of the Saudi-backed mercenaries in Yemen’s Marib province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The army forces stormed the mercenaries’ positions in Harib Nihem district, killing and injuring dozens of them, the official added.
The official confirmed that a number of mercenaries were captured by the army forces during the attack.
