Yemeni Armed Forces on Monday repelled Saudi-backed forces attempting to advance on the Dhi Na’im area of Al-Bayda province, a military source told Yemen’s official Saba news agency.
The source said that the Saudi-backed forces suffered heavy losses in personnel and equipment, while reinforcements sent to support them were also targeted.
The operation comes amid a series of reported Yemeni attacks targeting Saudi-backed military deployments in several provinces, as tensions and ground confrontations continue to escalate.
