A prominent leader in Mahrah province, eastern Yemen, has on Sunday warned Saudi Arabia and the UAE against “committing any stupidity to stir discord in the province.”
Head of the sit-in protest committee in the Shehn district of Mahrah province, Hameed Zaabnoot, said that the Saudi-Emirati movements in the province are “seeking to ignite the conflict and stir up sedition through armed militias.”
Zaabnoot called on the Mahrah tribes and the leadership of the local authority to stand firm against the invaders and occupiers.
