The Parliament, in its Sunday session chaired by the Speaker of the House Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, welcomed the International Criminal Court (ICC)’s decision on its jurisdiction over the Palestinian territories, including the Israel-occupied lands since 1967.
The Parliament pointed out that this declaration a prelude to considering the war crimes committed by Israel within the Palestinian territories, highly valuing this decision, which is a victory for justice, freedom and fairness for the martyrs of the struggling Palestinian people.
The Parliament considered the decision a victory for the court itself, because it overcame all the Israeli and American pressures, calling on the free people of the world to redress the grievances of the Palestinian people and adhere to the ICC decision.
