Head of the National Delegation affirmed that the ongoing siege on Yemen imposed by the forces of the US-Saudi aggression with the advent of the blessed Ramadan is a complete stripping of all human values.
“The blessed month of Ramadan is just around the corner, the aggression’s forces continue to impose their siege on our Yemeni people for the seventh year, in complete disassociation from all human values,” Abdulsalam said on his Twitter account on Saturday.
The forces of the US-Saudi aggression continue to detain fuel tankers, preventing them from entering Hodeidah port, despite the completion of all inspection and auditing procedures through the mechanism of the verification and inspection mission in Djibouti (UNVIM).
“In the face of the continued aggression and siege, our Yemeni people will proceed in the confrontation, defending their right to live in freedom, dignity and sovereignty,” Abdulsalam added.
A group of over 75 US lawmakers has written to the administration urging it to “use the full weight of US influence to pressure Saudi Arabia to lift its naval and air blockade in Yemen that has left the nation grappling with both food and fuel crises.”
