The Seismological and Volcanological Observatory Center in Dhamar Governorate recorded a minor tremor on Saturday south of Al-Malah District in Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen.
Eng. Mohammad Hussein Al-Houthi, head of the center, stated that monitoring stations registered a 2.2-magnitude quake on the Richter scale at 4:22 AM, occurring south of Al-Malah at a depth of 12 kilometers beneath the Earth’s surface.
