Al-Mahrah Governor Al-Qatabi Ali Hussein Al-Faraj condemned the developments and construction of military buildings and facilities near the runway of Al-Ghaidha Airport.
In a statement to Saba, Governor Al-Qatabi denounced the practices of the Saudi occupation and the arrests and prosecutions it carried out against the sons of Mahra and the anti-occupation figures. He pointed out to the increase in the crimes by occupation militias against residents.
Governor Al-Faraj warned against the persistence of the Saudi occupation and its tools in carrying out its criminal schemes, looting wealth, disrupting services and institutions, and deteriorating the economic and living situation of the people of Mahra.
He called on the international community and humanitarian organizations to condemn the violations and crimes of the Saudi occupation. He urged the people of the province to be aware of the conspiratorial plans of the occupying countries.
Some media outlets circulated aerial photographs that revealed the developments and military installations implemented by the Saudi forces at Al-Ghaidha International Airport. The pictures shows the presence of a number of Saudi Air Force helicopters on the airport runway, and a recent camp affiliated with it near it.
