A citizen in Al-Tuhayta district,Hodeidah Governorate, was killed, as a result of a mine explosion left over from the forces of the aggression coalition.
The Executive Center for Mine Action stated in a statement today – received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) – that, since the beginning of the new year, two deaths and three injuries, including children, were recorded in a number of governorates as a result of war remnants.
He pointed out that the threat of war remnants is still lurking with new victims, as a result of the wide scope of contamination, the excessive use of cluster bombs, and the lack of mine detectors.
