United States threatened a new escalation against Yemen, coinciding with its failure to mobilize Yemeni forces loyal to it to detonate the situation militarily.
In a new statement, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken hinted at his country’s intention to re-impose the blockade on Yemen, claiming that there would be no opportunity for food supplies to enter Yemen, specifically the northern regions.
Blinken indicated that his country aspires to see famine in Yemen, reiterating his demand that Yemen stop its naval operations against ships linked to Israel.
Blinken was speaking before his arrival in the capital of the Israeli occupation as part of his tour through which he seeks to pave the way for the Battle of Rafah.
Blinken’s statements, which coincide with an intense American movement regarding the Yemen file, indicate American fears about Yemen’s reaction if the occupation decides to attack Rafah, the last refuge for residents in Gaza.
