Three fishermen injured by Gunfire from Eritrean Navy boats

Three Yemeni fishermen were wounded at dawn today, by bullets and projectiles of the Eritrean naval boats, 94 nautical miles, towards 285 degrees, in the middle of the sea.

The fishermen, Abdullah Ali Nahari, said in a statement to “Al -Thawra Net” that the Eritrean naval boats fired their machine guns  towards three fishermen’s boats in the Yemeni territorial waters, which led to the injury of the fisherman Wasim Muhammad Salem Khalouf with a gunfire in his right shoulder, and the fisherman Abdullah Ibrahim Ahmed Sayegh in his leg with a fiery shot in a boat, while the fisherman Muhammad Ahmad Zaylai was injured by shrapnel in a second boat.

He referred that the injured fishermen were transfered to the Al -Thawra Hospital Authority to receive the therapy after their delivery to the fish port in Hodeidah.

Nahari confirmed that the fishermen’s boats and boats are repeatedly displaying targeting the Eritrean maritime boats, as they arrest them, confiscate their boats, deprive them of hunting, and pose a danger to their lives.
