Israeli occupation forces are continuing their offensive on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp for the 32nd consecutive day, resulting so far in 26 Palestinians killed and dozens injured, in addition to widespread devastation to homes and infrastructure.
According to to Palestinian media sources, the occupation forces have been besieging the Jenin Governmental Hospital, with dozens of military vehicles stationed around the facility. They are also blocking access to the nearby Al-Amal Hospital while conducting identity checks and interrogating civilians as they move around the area.
Hospitals in the city are also facing severe shortages of water, as Israeli forces have targeted and destroyed water supply lines, according to local and medical sources. Around 35 percent of the city’s residents are currently without access to water, exacerbating the already dire situation.
Israeli forces have also converted buildings near the Jenin refugee camp into military posts since the early days of the offensive. Over the last few hours, reinforcements, along with a bulldozer, have been deployed to the Al-Bassatin neighborhood in Jenin, accompanied by fuel tankers, water storage tanks, and fortified communication units.
Furthermore, reports indicate that approximately 3,000 families from the Jenin refugee camp have been forcibly displaced, with over 120 homes destroyed completely. The infrastructure of the city has suffered extensive damage as a result of the ongoing attacks.
In related developments, the occupation forces detained a child from the nearby town of Al-Yamoun while he was outside his home and conducted a raid on the town of Ya’bad in the southern part of the Jenin Governorate, though no additional detentions were reported.
