Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine, described the Zionist practices in the occupied West Bank as “criminal.”
The UN official said via her account on the X platform last night: “The international community must intervene and stop the destruction, which she said “has expanded to include all the occupied territories, not just Gaza.”
Albanese added: “Israel’s actions in the West Bank are criminal, as they expand the scope of destruction to include all the occupied Palestinian territories, not just Gaza.”
The UN rapporteur indicated that she had warned the UN General Assembly of this happening in her latest report in October 2024.
She explained that “the intent of genocide is clear in the way Israel targets the entire Palestinian people and the entire occupied Palestinian territories, which Israel claims are exclusively designated for Jewish self-determination,” adding: “It is time, even late, to intervene to stop this.”
