Thousands of Moroccans yesterday expressed their rejection of the Zionist plan to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, who have been facing an ongoing genocide for the past 20 months.
This came as they participated in demonstrations organized by the Moroccan Committee for the Support of the Nation’s Causes (a non-governmental organization) for the 78th week under the slogan “Gaza is Bleeding.”
The organization organized these demonstrations in several cities across the Kingdom of Morocco, including Chefchaouen, Tangier, Meknes, and Ksar El-Kebir (north), Agadir (central), Taza (east), and Azemmour (west).
Participants in these protests raised banners supporting the “Palestinian resistance” and the steadfastness of its people, alongside Palestinian flags.
The demonstrators also denounced the ongoing genocidal war perpetrated by the Israeli enemy in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which has left more than 177,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons.
Meanwhile, Israel has been implementing a deliberate starvation policy against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, almost completely closing the crossings since March 2, preventing the entry of food, medical, and relief aid. Only very small quantities have recently been distributed through a new mechanism with US support.
