Dozens of settlers renew their storming of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Israeli settler groups renewed their storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards in occupied Jerusalem on Thursday, under the protection of Israeli forces.

According to local Palestinian sources, dozens of settlers entered the mosque compound in groups, carried out provocative tours of its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals under the guard of Israeli occupation forces.

The Israeli forces imposed tight restrictions on Palestinian worshippers, seizing their ID cards at the mosque’s outer gates.

Meanwhile, calls from Jerusalemite activists continued, urging mass mobilization and steadfast presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque to foil the occupation’s and settlers’ schemes.

These calls emphasized the importance of intensifying attendance at Al-Aqsa once it reopens, and performing prayers there as a practical step to confront Israeli measures and break attempts to isolate the mosque from its surrounding community and religious environment.

Al-Aqsa Mosque faces daily violations and incursions by settlers and Israeli forces—except on Fridays and Saturdays—in ongoing efforts to alter its status quo and enforce temporal and spatial division.
