The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) announced that its soldiers were fired upon from an Israeli army position south of the Blue Line, without sustaining any injuries.
In a statement, UNIFIL said that its soldiers were targeted earlier today by 15 rounds fired from small arms at a distance of no more than 50 meters, while conducting a patrol near the town of Kfarshouba in the Hasbaya district of southern Lebanon.
