The UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, Francesca Albanese, stated that Israel has no authority to impose laws on Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian territories, asking, “How then can it torture them to death by hanging?!”
In a post on the X platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Albanese stressed the need for UN member states to “put an end to the culture of impunity that Israel leads, which threatens the collapse of the entire international system.”
