Five Palestinian civilians, including three children, were killed and others injured on Wednesday evening after an Israeli airstrike targeted civilians in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip, amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire.
According to WAFA, a drone strike hit a group of people near a mosque in the “Beit Lahia Project” area, killing five and seriously injuring others.
Israeli artillery also shelled eastern Beit Lahia, while injuries were reported in separate attacks in central and southern Gaza earlier in the day.
The Gaza Health Ministry said 786 Palestinians have been killed and 2,217 injured since the ceasefire began on October 10, in continued violations by Israeli forces.
