The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said on Sunday it facilitated the transfer of 15 released Palestinian prisoners from the Kerem Shalom crossing to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza, and helped reunite them with their families.
The ICRC said it has been unable to access detainees in Israeli prisons since October 2023, calling for information on their fate and access to them, according to WAFA.
It stressed that detainees must be treated humanely under international law and allowed contact with their families, adding it continues efforts to resume visits to Palestinian detainees.
