The Iranian news agency “Tasnim” reported that the country’s armed forces turned back two oil tankers on Sunday morning after they attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz “illegally.”
Following the continuation of the naval blockade of Iran, the Iranian armed forces today turned back two more oil tankers from passing through the Strait of Hormuz, according to the agency.
The agency explained that the two oil tankers were sailing under the flags of Botswana and Angola and were planning to transit this strategic waterway, but were forced to change their course and retreat after the timely action of the country’s armed forces.
