Islamic Resistance strikes Israeli warship off Lebanese coast

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon ( Hezbollah) announced on Sunday that its fighters targeted an Israeli warship 68 nautical miles off the Lebanese coast this morning, as the vessel was preparing to launch attacks on Lebanese territory.

In a statement,  Hezbollah said the attack was carried out using a naval cruise missile after the target had been under surveillance for several hours, adding that a direct hit was confirmed.

It affirmed that the operation was in defense of Lebanon and its people, and came in response to the Israeli enemy’s continued bombardment of villages and cities, destruction of infrastructure, and displacement of civilians.
