The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Monday evening that 6 Lebanese civilians were injured as a result of an Israeli enemy airstrike on the town of Qaqaiyat al-Jisr in the Nabatieh district, southern Lebanon, in continuation of Zionist violations of the ceasefire agreement.
The ministry said in a statement, according to the Lebanese National News Agency, that “the Israeli enemy airstrike on the town of Qaqaiyat al-Jisr in the Nabatieh district resulted in the injury of 6 citizens.”
Since March 2, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression on Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, and cities, intensifying its airstrikes, resulting in thousands of martyrs and wounded and the displacement of approximately one and a half million Lebanese citizens, concurrently with the aggression launched by the United States and the Zionist entity on Iran.
A ceasefire agreement entered into effect in mid-April, yet the Israeli enemy army continues to commit daily violations of the agreement.
