Iran announced on Saturday evening that its air defenses had engaged with small American-Zionist drones on Qeshm Island.
The Iranian Tasnim news agency quoted the assistant for political affairs of the Hormozgan governor as saying that air defense systems were activated on Qeshm Island to confront small enemy drones.
He explained that “the sound heard hours ago on Qeshm Island was the result of the activation of air defense systems and engagement with small enemy drones.”
He noted that the Iranian armed forces are on full alert, the situation is completely under control, and conditions on Qeshm Island are entirely stable.
