Mohammed al-Farah, a member of the Ansarullah movement’s political bureau, held Saudi Arabia responsible for any road blockades, robberies targeting travelers, confiscation of their belongings, or killings, saying such incidents occur in areas controlled by Saudi-backed forces.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Al-Farah said: “It must be clear to the Saudi enemy that it is responsible for any of these acts and bears the responsibility for preventing them.”
He added: “As for Fadgham, he is nothing but a mercenary and a tool of the Saudis, operating under a false and baseless pretext. Only someone who is naive, misled, treacherous, or acting as an agent would believe or follow him.”
Al-Farrah said that “our position is a defense of the truth against the Saudi enemy and its mercenaries, who seek to deceive our people with these false claims.”
He also said that if Sumaya Al-Zubairi had a legitimate claim, she would have turned to the tribes of Iraq and to her relatives there, arguing that her inheritance is in Iraq, not Yemen.
Al-Farah urged those who, he said, had been deceived, misled, enticed by money, or drawn into battles serving the enemy’s objectives to abandon what he described as a mercenary course against the country and its people.
“As much as we advise, we also warn that any hostile move will be met with firmness and without any leniency,” he said.
