Denmark reopens embassy in Tehran

The Danish embassy in the Iranian capital, Tehran, which had been closed since March due to security conditions caused by the war, officially resumed its activities yesterday.

The Iranian Fars News Agency reported on Tuesday that the Danish embassy in Tehran has restarted its operations after more than three months of closure following the US-Israeli aggression against Iran.

The Danish Foreign Ministry said in a statement, as quoted by the agency, that “due to the improvement in the security situation in Iran, the Danish embassy in Tehran has resumed its activities.”

The statement also noted that the Danish ambassador to Iran has been carrying out his duties at the embassy since June 19.

Denmark had temporarily closed its embassy in Tehran on March 10 due to the security situation in Iran resulting from the war.
