One killed, several injured in Israeli drone strike west of Khan Younis

One Palestinian was killed and several others were injured on Monday evening in an Israeli drone strike targeting a group of civilians near the Al-Nass Junction in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the drone strike hit a gathering of civilians at the junction, killing one person and wounding several others.

Medical teams at Kuwait Field Hospital recovered the victim’s body and transferred the wounded to the hospital for treatment, ambulance crews said.

Earlier on Monday, medical sources in Gaza reported that hospitals across the enclave had received four bodies and eight injured people over the previous 24 hours as a result of continued Israeli attacks.

A ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip came into effect  on October 10, 2025. However, Palestinian sources say Israeli occupation forces have continued to carry out daily violations of the truce.
